We present this fantastic late 18th century antique pair of armchairs, Directoire period. The armchairs are crafted from solid walnut with a distinctive seat in hand-woven Vienna straw, using the traditional method. Their design perfectly reflects the period, with open backrests, truncated pyramidal front legs, and arched rear legs.
The armchairs are in excellent condition. A comfortable cushion is included to preserve the cane and make the seat more comfortable. These two fantastic armchairs are perfect for enhancing any room in the home, from the bedroom to the living room. Seat height: 39.5 cm.
