1960s Murano vase by Flavio Poli for Mandruzzato, in smoked grey submerged glass. A Murano art glass vase from the 1960s, in smoked grey and clear. A beautiful Murano glass vase, designed by Flavio Poli for Alessandro Mandruzzato (Murano, Italy, 1960s). This vase is made from thick glass. The glass is beautifully faceted. It is extremely decorative. Mandruzzato is renowned for producing exceptional pieces of artistic glass in geometric and cubic forms. This vase was created using the ‘vetro sommerso’ technique. This technique, known as ‘vetro sommerso’, would become Flavio Poli’s signature technique; it involves layering different sheets of glass with varying textures and colours. The multicoloured effect is stunning! This exquisite vase is a true work of art in glass and can be displayed in any room of the house. Excellent vintage condition. No markings or signature present. This vase is attributed based on the quality of the glass and the design. Excellent condition, price negotiable.
