A single significant highlight from the ancient world forming part of some antiques from high-end antiques originating from a historic Genoese ( see in our shop series of important ribalta tables etc… high period ) ! Folding table from the high period early years of the eighteenth century a truly beautiful piece whose quality is possible only because it originates from workshops of great cabinet-making. The drawers are presented with a front featuring drawers made entirely from walnut with thick veneer laid in such a way as to create refined geometric shapes. Spectacular the castle interior of great opulence not common to all the highlights of the high era ( search for other articles you’ll notice the comparison) created by vintage period central mirror framed by architectural where the staircase reveals itself as a distinctive secret compartment. The fold-down floor is entirely laid in a herringbone pattern in its interior. All the nailing dates from the 18th century, as does the ironwork present. The flap is majestic and imposing even if the refinement of the panelling is already entirely eighteenth-century, the dimensions and the features are still influenced by large chest of drawers canterani from the 17th-century period. The stage had been restored in a manner that was conservative and highly professional by previous owners and is therefore second-hand but in perfect condition as per our inspection it does not require any work to restore it or restoration. Minor marks on the surface of the finish resulting from use.
