We present an elegant Italian antique round table dating back to the mid-19th century. The table features typical Louis Philippe period features. The round top is embellished with a central inlay, creating a highly refined effect. The top is supported by a sturdy turned central leg, which in turn rests on three curved feet. The distinctive feature of this splendid antique table is the mechanism that allows the top to be positioned vertically. This type of table is known in Italy as a “Sail Table”.
