Rare prayer stool Italian antique, mid- 17th century high Baroque period of Louis XIV. Made of walnut solid wood with decorations in relief carved into wood on the front panel. In the distinctive Baroque Piedmontese cabinet-making style. In the section dedicated to the knees there is a compartment. Of great value is all the fittings in hand-forged iron and contemporary, fantastic large keys antique from the 17th century.Excellent condition of preservation. This fantastic prayer stool is a piece of history which could be displayed in a museum.
