Imposing cabinet antique late Louis XIV second half of the 17th century in the distinctive style of Genoese cabinet-making. The wardrobe was made from fine high-quality wood of walnut solid wood with a rich patina. The doors and sides are panelled with squares. On the front are two beautiful capitals with acanthus leaves finely carved. Of great significance is the presence of the original interior fittings with a front frame and side sliding guides to allow for the need to pull out the top as if it were a drawer. This measure is not coincidental since very often at the that time these cupboards were used as large larders. All the internal parts are original nails from the period hardware has been partially replaced. Restored in a conservative manner by former owners and maintained with care.
