A beautiful UNIQUE pair of sideboards antique refined and elegant crafted towards the end of the 19th century in perfect Gothic / Renaissance style. We recommend that you take a look at the details of the images to appreciate all the details of the refinement of these two pieces of furniture. The front panels feature in fact refined carving in wood of walnut with rich decoration. The fine wood of walnut is skilfully carved and one notice the presence of zoomorphic fantasy figures typical of a Gothic Renaissance style. Towards the end of the 19th century, in fact, there was a revival of tastes Gothic and Renaissance which gave rise to a wave a15> output in the arts which was perfectly inspired by those periods. These beliefs are a perfect example of their grandness and their richness in decorative elements. The commissioner of these sideboards was undoubtedly of a high standard as is well known in fact that even for the timber used in construction such as the backrest was used the fine wood of walnut. The two sideboards are used and show some signs of wear and tear in terms of the finish and in some parts there are holes caused by woodworm.
